March 17th is the day to party with the Irish for St Patricks Day, and as it is traditionally a day of parades and carnivals a masquerade mask fits in nicely with the celebrations.
Originally the colour blue was always associated with St Patrick but over the years the colour changed to green, and now green shamrocks and ribbons are worn in celebration for the Saint. The phrase “wearing of the green” means to wear a shamrock on your clothing and comes from an Irish street ballad of the same name.
So if you are planning a St Patricks Day celebration and are going to be taking part in the “wearing of the green” then head down to Mask Heaven and take a look at the beautiful green Masquerade Masks perfect for this day. On the site you can find your mask by colour and you will see a lovely range of green feather, fancy and plain eye masks to suit everyone.
